BWIC Students & Staff Dress-Down and Bag-up for Hurricane Matthew Victims

In the week before the half-term holiday, BWIC students and staff took part in a Jeans Day to raise money for victims of Hurricane Matthew. A number of energetic students and adults also helped bag groceries at IGA to add to the money raised. In a fantastic gesture of generosity, IGA matched the money raised through the bucket cash collection and student/staff donations. We are very pleased to have raised a total of $5000 for this very worthy cause. Thank you to everyone who collaborated – a great show of humanity.
