| This is to remind you that Monday 14th March is Commonwealth Day, a national holiday in the TCI when the Collegiate will be closed. Classes will recommence on Tuesday 15th March at 7.55 AM. Parents and students should be aware that clocks go forward by one hour at 2.00 AM this Sunday morning, 13th March, to mark the beginning of summertime and daylight saving hours. Finally, I would like to appeal to all drivers waiting to collect students at the end of the day to be courteous and cooperative in deciding on where and how they park their vehicles. Nobody should be parking at all in either of the two turnaround areas. Nobody should take up more space than is necessary when they park, as we do have a good number of vehicles to accommodate. Parents are invited to make use of the gravel surface behind Brayton Hall, should space elsewhere run out. For everybody’s safety and comfort, please politely follow any direction given to you by the teachers on duty. They will be more aware than most likely car park problems before they arise, and are there to assist and to monitor student safety, not to seek conflict.
