FACE MASKS

Following the guidance given by the Ministry of Health earlier this week, the wearing of face masks will no longer be compulsory in school from Monday 2nd May. We do recommend, however, that all our Cambridge examination students continue to take the precautionary measure whilst undertaking their exams in the Common Room.

ACCEPTED TO HARVARD

We are extremely pleased to share that our sixth-form student, Jenna Hatmin, has been offered a place to begin studies this coming August at Harvard University, ranked as the top Ivy League university in the US.

In the Sixth Form, Jenna has been studying Cambridge International Advanced Level Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. As a result of her hard work and a near-perfect SAT score, Jenna has been offered a scholarship to attend the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, where she intends to obtain a Ph.D. in Particle Physics.

Congratulations, Jenna! You do the TCI proud! The BWIC family wishes you all the very best in your future endeavors.

ENTRANCE EXAMS MAY 7

Finally, we remind parents of Primary 6 or Year 9 (Form 3) children who would like to join our community of well-rounded and high-achieving students that our annual Entrance Tests for Year 7 (Form 1) and Year 10 (Form 4, IGCSE) will take place on the morning of Saturday 7th May. Further information is available from Ms. Shakiera Bain (sbain@bwic.tc Tel. 331-3331).

Similarly, applications for entry to our Sixth Form, both from students currently in our Year 11 or from those in Form 5 at other schools, are now being accepted by Mrs. Lettice Malcolm, Head of Sixth Form (lmalcolm@bwic.tc).

Thank you for your ongoing support and collaboration.
With very best regards,
Anthony Wilkinson
