Cambridge A-Levels
On Saturday 1st April, BWIC opens its doors to visitors interested in finding out more about our Sixth Form Programme. Should you know any current Year 11 student (Fifth Form in the national system) who wants to know more about pursuing Cambridge A-Levels with us, please ask them to come along to the Open Forum beginning at 10.00am.
BWIC Open Day
Due to a clash with this year’s earlier schedule of Cambridge International Examinations, our annual Open Day will now take place on Wednesday 26th April.
Yr 11 Raffle
Our Year 11 students are currently raising money for the annual educational trip to the Dominican Republic. They are selling raffle tickets for a 50/50 draw, to take place on Friday 7th April. Tickets cost $10 each.
Inter-High School Volleyball
The TCI Inter-School Volleyball Tournament takes places on Thursday 6th April (Girls) and Friday 7th April (Boys). Our teams have been training hard and are looking forward to the event. Naturally, we will be asking parents and friends to show their support for our student players. More details when we have them.
Easter Closing
BWIC will close for Easter at midday on Friday 7th April and will re-open for classes at 7.30am on Monday 24th April.
FREE Performing Arts Easter Camp
A FREE performing arts camp will run in Brayton Hall during the Easter holiday from Saturday 8th to Friday 14th April. Sponsored by Turks & Caicos Friends of the Arts Foundation, Turks and Caicos Education Foundation, and Provo Performing Arts School, the workshop will be led by popular UK actress, Anna-Jane Casey. PTA Events for Your Diary
PTA Poker Night
Last Saturday, our PTA ran a successful Poker Night in Brayton Hall, raising several thousands of dollars for the BWIC scholarship fund. Many thanks to all involved, especially Mr & Mrs Stephens and the Casablanca Casino for their invaluable contribution of resources, and to all our generous sponsors for donating prizes and refreshments. A fun evening was had by all.
