2021-2022 BWIC School Year
27th August 2021
Dear Parents/Guardians,
I trust that you and your family have had an enjoyable summer and are keeping well and safe.

Return to school
Michaelmas Term commences on Wednesday 8th September at 7:55 am. However, at present, we are waiting to be notified by the Education Department of the new COVID-19 protocols for schools. This will determine the nature of the return to school for our students. We will update parents as soon as we have this information.

When your child returns to face-to-face learning, we will require that they wear a full school uniform. Parents needing to purchase new school uniforms should fill in the attached order form and email it to Mrs. Coty: collettecoty@gmail.com. Mrs. Coty will contact you when your order is ready for collection from the school’s uniform boutique. Please note that, due to the rising number of COVID cases, parents are asked to make an appointment with Mrs. Coty, should their child need to try on uniform items. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. The uniform boutique does have a few pre-owned uniform items, in good condition, that are available at a very reasonable price. Once again, please contact Mrs Coty if you are interested in these.

Contacting the school
Ms. Bain, the school’s Secretary, can be contacted via phone (331 3331) or email (sbain@bwic.tc) for all registration matters, including tuition fees. Mr. Wilkinson, the Vice-Principal, is currently on unforeseen medical leave. In his absence, please direct all emails concerning school business to me, Mrs. Sylvie Wigglesworth (principal@bwic.tc).

We strongly encourage parents of all students aged 12 and above to have their child vaccinated. If your child is fully vaccinated, please email a copy of the certificate to Ms. Bain. Please note that all members of BWIC teaching staff are fully vaccinated as well as our ancillary staff. Thank you for your cooperation in this vital matter of community concern. We are looking forward to welcoming our students back to school and wish newcomers all the very best for the start of this academic year.

With best regards
Mrs. Sylvie Wigglesworth
