How pleased we are to see all our students back at school again after a well-earned Easter break! Hopefully, everyone is re-energised and ready to give their all as we work hard up to (not down to!) the summer vacation.

Trinity Term is twelve weeks long, and includes the year’s major assessment period, topped by Cambridge (CIE) IGCSE and A-Level examinations for students in Years 11, 12 and 13. These students already have their Statements of Entry, and a general calendar of the session’s examinations. They should check and highlight each and every examination they need to attend, and keep the document at hand for daily reference. I shall post copies of the Cambridge exam calendar on our Facebook page today. For everyone, there will also be a copy of our internal calendar for Trinity Term.

This week, our students will have the opportunity to welcome visiting speakers. Mr Nicholas Prew of the TCI Human Rights Commission will address our senior students on Wednesday afternoon. On Friday afternoon, BWIC graduate Mario Rigby, will give a presentation to the Collegiate about his inspiring 12,000 Km trek on foot and by kayak from South Africa to Egypt. An insight into Mario’s experiences may be read here (CLICK ON LINK).

At the end of last term, we made you aware of certain glitches that had crept into our reporting system. Amended copies of these reports will be made available this week, with our apologies.

With best regards,

Anthony Wilkinson, Vice-Principal
