Shade Sails

Preparations are underway to complete the installation of the remaining shade sails. We have the equipment, but are in need of labour and expertise. If you can assist, please contact the Principal.

Yard Sale

To be held on Saturday October 10 from 9:00 to 11:00. Contact Kim Larkin at klarkin@tciway.tc if you have any items to contribute to the Year 9 or 11 fund-raising tables, or if you would like to reserve a table yourself ($20 per table).

Jamie Oliver Food Initiative

You should soon see a beautiful pot of herbs and vegetables growing outside each form room. If you can help with the cost of the plant and soil purchase, please contact callyaffleck@gmail.com. We are looking for donations in increments of $30.
Each class is responsible for growing their own herbs, which will be used when a ‘guest chef” visits the school in the new year. Following the Jamie Oliver food programme in the UK, we are working with chefs from Provo who are enthusiastic about coming into the school to teach the children how to cook quick, healthy meals with their home-grown seasonings. More information on the programme will be forthcoming. In the meantime, if you know a chef who might be interested, please let us know!

Christmas Secret Shopper

During the last week of school in December, we will once again hold our Christmas Secret Shopping Mall. Please help to make this a fun event for your children by donating small items for purchase (such as candles, chocolates, costume jewellery, colognes, etc). We also would appreciate donations of wrapping materials.

Pizza Fridays

This has been an ongoing programme. Students are offered pizza for purchase on Fridays. Parent volunteers are always needed to help serve the pizza. Arrive at the school at 12:30, serve pizza, and be heading home within 45 minutes. It is a great way to get to know all the students! Please contact the Principal if you are able to assist.
